Two
officials in the branch of the General Authority of Zakat and income in Dammam stressed that the categories subjected to
zakat have certain rights in accordance with the consequent obligations in this regard.
This

visual presentation titled (the mechanisms of the work of the Committee of the Zakat obliged in the small and medium institutions).
Head

activities that are subjected to the system of Zakat, that are (business and
professional activities), explaining that the commercial activity is the
activity that aims to gain money or work with all trade, investment, industrial
and financial forms, while the professional activity is an activity that
depends on the effort of the person mainly through the exploitation of
intellectual talents and what he got from knowledge, training and experience
He
pointed that those subjected to zakat are: (persons with physical character of
Saudis living in the Kingdom and whoever treated alike, and the Saudi institutions
in the Kingdom, of governmental Committees and institutions and treated alike, and
people residing in Saudi and whoever treated alike of their companies registered
outside the Kingdom.
For
his part, Computer Unit Director in the branch Waleed Al Khalifa, said that when
the normal or virtual person is subjected to zakat under the
regulations and instructions, he should make registration, and the reporting of
zakat and contracts with other parties. The
deduction of the tax, and the books and records, explaining that the taxpayer has
rights represented by the confidentiality of the information and the recovery
of amounts paid, and objection and appeal, and acquiring the certificate.
He
added that all the services are automatic, but the registration process
includes all kinds of taxpayers, and all taxpayers branches and activities, and automatically he can add or delete any
activity or branch, and modify all data-designate, and to stop the activity,
pointing that using the site requires creating an account for a user name and
password, and providing all the required documents for registration (according
to the type of the taxpayer)
The
meeting witnessed a number of
discussions about the electronic services provided by the General Committee for Zakat in Dammam branch to facilitate
Zakat, and in the conclusion the guests have been honored.
